How my life will move on during this couple of month / year.. I will start working on shifting rotation 4days work and 3 days rest / 3 days works and 4 days rest … Yes that means.. Every day I must work for 12 hours. Then go back just sleep and wake up on next morning or evening to work again.
I will update my knowledge about the UNIX administration. Seriously I never have any server experience before, 0 % . But I already attend the NCLP Course & Linux Server Administration Course before. So I have a little bit knowledge about that..
Yesterday I went to Cyberjaya for the induction. The funniest things I only the guy that wear jeans n tshirt hahaha… I never know the company dress code. Back to Intel I just wear the jeans n tshirt every day haha…no dress code in Intel… At there are around 5 guys including me.. the other 4 guy are Windows people…and I the only UNIX people over there(wearing the jeans n tshirt). Start from today I must wear the casual dress to work.. except on Friday.. can wear jeans..but must wear tshirt with color. I feel like in school already.. But this is the rules.. every employee should follow the rules.. u can’t break it.. Only Michael Scolfield can do that… So I will identify the business environment in my new working place –HP.. You should show you attitude and the corporate image to other. That the policies… Did you all meet your Managing Director before.. Yes I do today.. We went to the office tour.. and meet up the Managing Director.. He just can stop his meeting for a while… just too meet us.. He is the nice person..He also give us some motivation about the jobs and our career path after 1 or 2 year.. What should you do after that…? YES I need to take this opportunity as my ticket to fly….
Why I should do in my rest day.. Maybe on standby… If not.. What I must do…?
The first thing is study.. Learn more about UNIX.. Oh.. I forget about my NCLP exam again… I must sit it on 28… If don’t have leave on that day I will postpone again.. I need my working schedule now.. Plz… Currently I already have the 3 modules on UNIX SA & Networking. Yes time to learn something new..
That I should enjoy more… Yes I need it… I need to enjoy with my new jobs.. And spent more time with friends.. Do a lot of activity.. I’m in KL lol…not Kulim look the death town hahaha… I think I should be a little bit boring coz I don’t have any special Girl Friend… A little bit jaded.. I should look for it…? That I’m right… I no need to care about the other filling … also no need take about her… haha make my life enjoy and heaven huhuhu…
I need to fulfill my life a lot of activity now (clubbing.. hahaha no way.. I’m not the smoker and drinker.. no need liquor on cigarettes).. I need to archive something that more and more better than n

Today I got the Linux Format Magazine (LXF – October). On the top of cover got the “HOT TOPIC” = $$$$ Cash for knowledge – Get your Linux skills certified and walk into a dream job.. This what I’m doing right now.. Get more certs and earn more… and get the jobs that you like.
Some paragraphs that I copied from that magazine.

For me the money is not the problem for the company… If employer wants the quality of services they should send the employee for the training… Hands on training.. No online material or eBook …Employee also can gain more skill/knowledge… it will represent the quality services for the employer…But I think it will work for the MSC/MNC status company. How about the local company that not have this status.. But make more profit… They should send also… Employer should take care of every employee.. Don’t make your employee leave if they have the skill that required for that job. To find the Linux people is not easy…trust me.. where to find this geek people…where are they.. all are in HP/IBM..hahaha

Last time when I attend the Novell Certified Linux Professional Course my instructor told me that NCLE more difficult than the RHCE.. When I do the comparison yes it true… but RHCT more difficult than the NCLP… But got the certain part that more difficult in NCLP is syslog-ng…. But now I can understand the concept of syslog-ng already..Thanks to my instructor…
But for future I don’t know yet.. I will go to Linux Certification (NCLE) or HP CSA (Because my new post is UNIX…) I think I should go to UNIX… this is suitable for me… Let me feel first…How the UNIX life…. Maybe I also can learn more about UNIX.. I will support SERVER… Server…no more Motherboard Certification… This experience very2 valuable for my future…
If you’re Linux User/ g33k / 1337 the certification is important.. You will specialized in the UNIX/Linux field… no more MISC stuff to be done… for sure no more windows….
On the weekend I went to KL to take my offer letter and sign the agreement. I went three via train (KTMB Express Langkawi).. (This is the last time I take the train) .. damm the train very slow… I took the bed seat…but I can’t sleep coz the air cond… I feel warn n hot… I reach at KL Central around 7am.. I should arrived on 520am… Then on Sunday I hang out with my friend… we meet up @ KL Central…i’m sure that they will came late..hahaha… I arrived sharp at 10.. Make the phone call to wan & adib…..still sleep… huhuhuhuhu..
I think better take my breakfast first… I take Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam + Fresh orange… I open up my lappy and check my mail.. and Friendster.. also some favorite site like linuxtoday.com . Their office (MSC Status Company) is beside IBM… I like the interior design on my company office. They got the jungle/tropical design…the small garden very nice.. I like to work inside that building.. a lot of cute girl. But I cant find any malay over there…all look like the foreign..
Yes I already register for this exam and scheduled in on October 2008. I hope that the instructor and the exam center can handle the exam on that time. I left than 1 month to do some revision. After this i can hold my first Pro Certificate. NCLP then try get the NCLE. I wish that i can pass it with the higher mark.

NVIDIA the largest company that build the GPU in world announce that the want to do the workforce reduction around of 360 position that equal to 6.5% of their employee worldwide.
SANTA CLARA, CA—SEPTEMBER 18, 2008—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) today announced a workforce reduction to allow for continued investment in strategic growth areas. As a result, NVIDIA expects to eliminate approximately 360 positions worldwide, or about 6.5 percent of the Company’s global workforce. The reduction is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2009 ending October 26, 2008. NVIDIA will provide employees affected by this reduction with severance packages, counseling, and job placement services.
“Our action today is difficult, but necessary considering current business realities. Despite our reduction, we will continue to invest in selective high-growth opportunities like our revolutionary CUDA parallel computing technology and our Tegra mobile single-chip computer,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO of NVIDIA. “We are taking fast action to enhance our competitive position and restore our financial performance. All of us at NVIDIA are determined to emerge from these challenges an even stronger company.”
The Company expects to record restructuring-related charges of approximately $7 million to $10 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 in connection with the reduction. These pre-tax charges are comprised of severance and related expenses and are expected to be charged primarily against NVIDIA’s operating expenses.
