The 1 room bathroom featured nothing other than a toilet along with a sink, but the walls had been papered with fabulous, colorful collages featuring starlets, pulp fiction novels and insects. The collages had been enhanced by graffiti dating back to the 1970s, and thousands of the well-known artists who played CBGB doubtless stopped in. Considering that you can no longer visit the actual bathroom in the club, you’ll be able to check out a recreation of it at Hartford’s Wadsworth Atheneum by artist Justin Lowe.
