  1. The most important conclusions I draw are from this 0-fer are:1) There is virtually no distinction between wines that rate 96 and up on any persons scale.2) replication of blind tasting results for both identifying wines or bestowing scores is a crapshoot (often yielding crap)3) I see no real point in pillorying RMP here; he is human and can err. I only hope he remembers this exercise before claiming again that his palate memory is practically photographic.4) Wine, especially those that evolve over time, should not be tagged with ratings that imply utter precision.5) If more critics were as willing as RP to RE-taste wines they have previously rated in publich, then the 100-point scale would be far more laughable among the common wine drinker.

  2. Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he just bought me lunch since I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!

  4. I have learned quite a few important things through your post. I would also like to say that there might be situation in which you will obtain a loan and never need a co-signer such as a Government Student Aid Loan. However, if you are getting a loan through a standard creditor then you need to be ready to have a cosigner ready to enable you to. The lenders will probably base that decision on the few issues but the main one will be your credit standing. There are some creditors that will likewise look at your job history and decide based on this but in many cases it will depend on your ranking.

  5. Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?

  6. One thing I would really like to say is the fact that before purchasing more computer system memory, have a look at the machine into which it can be installed. If your machine is definitely running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. Setting up above this would simply constitute just a waste. Be sure that one’s mother board can handle the upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.

  9. You…are…my…hero!!! I cant believe something like this exists on the internet! Its so true, so honest, and more than that you dont sound like an idiot! Finally, someone who knows how to talk about a subject without sounding like a kid who didnt get that bike he wanted for Christmas.

  10. Hi Joanne, Your June tips are great!! I needed the reminder to put off non-essentials and enjoy the “lazy, hazy, crazy” days of summer especially with my grandchildren. We can get so caught up with “stuff”. Enjoy your summer!! I can just picture you scurrying around in your cute red car singing to some music. How joyful is that!! God Bless You for all you do for others, Norma

  11. I agree with Makaid. I don’t think it is a matter of music making you more or less intelligent, I think it is the other was around. Dumb people will listen to dumb music, I’m sure if they surveyed for weird al, the majority of people who listen to him would also score low on IQ tests. Whereas smart folks are more likely to listen to music with a little more to it than just a strong baseline
