Cheep &#8211; Low Cost<br \/>2.  Easy<br \/>3. Security<br \/>4. Flavor&#8230; a lot of distro (Redhat,Novell, Unix &#8211; AIX, HPUX, Solaris)<br \/>5. GUI<br \/>6. Virtualization, Cluster, XEN(Stable)<br \/>7. Networking<br \/>8. File System (Fast)<br \/>9. Disk<br \/>10. Reliability<br \/>11. Software Cost<br \/>12. Cross Platform<br \/>13.
