The issue isnt blown calls which MLB deludes itself to think all will necesarily average out when all is said and done[maybe in the regular season when you have an enormous sample size but not necessarily in the post season]. If what Schmidt say is true, then this a rule change not a blown call and that a whole different issue. It definitely desrves an explanation

The simplest fix is to change the qualifying period to begin the day of the Boston marathon. It will eliminate the 2 for 1 qualifiers and give people running Boston a theoretical advantage.
